BASH in School

Hey guys!

Just thought I'd share this. I sponsor the gaming club at the school where I work. When I met them the kids were playing D&D and Pathfinder. I happened to slide my copy of BASH UE onto the table one day last year, and now they are total converts.

At the club convocation we hold every year, the kids had a poster board up with the BASH UE cover on display. I got to watch them play today. The four high school members from last year were teaching six new middle school members how to play. After a particularly dramatic chain of exploding doubles one of them shouted out, "MAN, do I LOVE BASH!"

It warmed my heart. :D

Cheers!

Thanks for sharing some good news!

Hurricanes, earthquakes, lousy stock market, etc. - we need to smile when we can.

Seriously, I am really glad that you have been able to expose a good game to your kids at school. Don't be a stranger.

Hey Solarblast! I WISH I could play with you on Fridays! I will again, someday - probably during Christmas.

For the record, I'm not playing with the kids. They're playing while I'm sitting at my desk making lesson plans, grading, and otherwise trying to catch-up on all my work. :(

Best,

Dragonfly

Hey buddy!

I'm afraid not. I have to prep for Tuesday in the morning and the afternoon belongs to my daughters. I'm actually GMing Supers! for them. (They are 5 and 8, so additon is easier than multiplication for the little one. Otherwise I'd run BASH UE.)

Best,

Dragonfly

My minions continue to spread BASH UE goodness! I just spoke to a former student and gaming club member who is now attending college up in Connecticut. She is about to introduce BASH to her new gaming group up there. I just hope I inspire my students as much in my U.S. History / American Studies courses! Excelsior! :)
