The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

Post by Saker »

I just finished watching Season 1 over the past five days. It's awesome! Where's a BASH game when I need one?

Cheers!

PS Netflix just paid for itself...

If you liked that, also check out Wolverine and the X-Men. Made by the same people (and just as awesome).

I was so upset when WatXM and Spectacular Spider-man were cancelled, while other, far less awesome shows were not. I considered Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes to be a good apology for that.

Actually, Netflix has Wolverine, Xmen and Ironman plus manga versions of the three, too. Thanks for the priority order.

No, I receive no commission or have any affiliation with Netflix. Plus it may be different in Canada than elsewhere. I'm just stating fact.

Cheers

I'm definately hoping to get these episodes on dvd some day. I hadn't watched the Wolverine and the X-Men, or the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes before, but I was absolutely luvin' the Spectacular Spider-Man series.

As for NetFlix in Canada, I found (and that was just over a year ago now) that they didn't have a much of a sellection of the shows I really wanted to see. It was mostly older stuff, foreign stuff, and artsy stuff (some of which was really great, but...). We had to drop it after just 3 weeks becasue it ate up all our allowable internet bandwidth. NetFlix was easily going to cost us more than the advertised $8 /month!
Too bad though, because I really enjoyed the convenience of it, and I knew that eventually the content was going to build.

I check my internet usage almost daily to monitor Netflix. Yes, the movie selections are old that's why I was pleasantly surprised to find all these cool cartoons.

For my family, it's definitely worth it to have a variety of Dora, Diego and Thomas the Train on demand. It keeps the short people entertained.

cheers

Mr. J, please do yourself a favor and find a way to watch WatXM and AEMH with all speed! You won't be disappointed. Great examples of how good animated supers stories can be!

I didn't find WatXM on the menu, but they had Joss Wheedon's Astonishing Xmen. Pretty good. I must say that I've passed that phase in my life when the storyline of "everyone is against me" appealed to me. On the other hand, I always preferred Colossus and Kitty to Cyclops and Emma Frost.

Hey guys,

I absolutely LOVE Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. My 5 and 8 year old daughters watch it with me, and it's a blast to see them so invested in the characters. What they've done with Hank Pym is particularly cool, but almost everything about this show makes me happy.

Now, if they'd only give us an ETA on the second season...

Best,

Dragonfly

It should be there; I have in it my queue even though I've seen all the episodes. They also have the two previous X-Men (the one from the 90's and Evolution), as well as all the Spiderman series. So much good superhero toons to watch!
