BASH and The Elder Scrolls

Post by Marve »

Like many others I have recently started playing the Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. The moment I started plaing i noticed the new skills and attributes system!! In this game each character is defined by three main attributes (Health , Stamina, Mana) and many skills.

Ofcourse the three main stats immidiately reminded me of BASH!! And I am currently thinking of making a conversion of the Elder Scrolls for a future campaign, however there are several things to consider!

1) Skills in the Elder Scrolls become better by repeated use. I have an idea for Natural growth but i wonder what you guys thought?

2) Skills are comepletely separated from the three main stats. This could cause problem with the nature of BASH! point buy and stats = skill level systems how should I modify these?

3)Factory characters. Alchemy, Enchanting and Smithing are all big parts of the Elder Scrolls. How does it fit within BASH?

I have never read BASH! Fantasy Edition so i do not know if that edition can handle these situations better.
